What are the Dates and Times of the Show House?
The Show House is open from November 2nd until November 15th. The Show House is open for Opening Day on November 2nd from 12 PM until 8 PM. From November 3rd - November 5th, November 7th - November 12th & November 14th, the Show House is open every day from 10 AM until 4 PM. The last entry is 30 minutes before closing time.
How much does the Show House cost to attend and what are the dates?
General Admission Tickets
Date: November 7 – November 12, November 14
Time: 10:00 am – 4 pm
Venue: Kips Bay Show House, 9446 Hathaway Street, Dallas, TX, 75220
Individual Tickets are $50.
For the final days of the Show House being open, we will have our General Admission days, which include a Show House journal. The five daily sessions for this event are 10 am - 11:30 am, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm.

I am interested in buying a ticket for the Show House, what are the details?

Tickets to the Show House vary in price and must be purchased in advance. Those tickets can only be used on the day/time you have selected the house is open.

Depending on availability, a limited number of tickets can be purchased at the door.

Once tickets are purchased, they can only be used once on the specific day/time you have chosen.

Tickets are non-refundable.

No entry 1/2 hour before closing.

No children under the age of 6 (including infants) are allowed.

No pets allowed.

General admission tickets also apply for entry to Kips Bay Show House events occurring on the day of your visit (if applicable).
I bought a ticket, now what?
Upon arrival at the Show House, you will need to either show your ticket on a mobile device or print your ticket for entry. Every ticket purchased is the date and time specific. Attendees are allowed to enter the house at any time during each time session window but need to exit by the conclusion of the session. All session times are listed on your ticket. You are allowed to enter the house at any time during each time slot.
What comes with my ticket?
Entry to the Show House along with a Show House Journal (subject to availability).

Where should I park?
Parking Requirements: The City of Dallas requires ALL guests to park in the Northhaven United Methodist Church parking lot at 11211 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75230. Kips Bay Parking attendants will be onsite to ensure you find your way into the parking lot and find the Kips Bay shuttle. Once parked, Kips Bay will run shuttles every 10 minutes to and from the Show House. Towing around the Preston Hollow neighborhood and Show House will be strictly enforced - no exceptions. If you park your vehicle on any neighborhood street, it will be towed. Kips Bay staff can provide tow company information to retrieve your car if towed.
Ride Share Options: If taking a ride share like Uber, Lyft, or ALTO, you MUST be dropped off at the Northaven United Methodist Church Parking lot at 11211 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75230. No Ride Share Drop-offs will be accepted at the Show House or within the Preston Hollow neighborhood. Please make sure your driver drops you off at the assigned spot. Once you are dropped off, you can take the Shuttle to the Show House. Also, note that no Rideshares will be accepted at the Show House, and you must take the Shuttle back to Northaven Church to accept your Rideshare.
Is there a place on-site to purchase food or drinks?
Unfortunately, food and drink are not allowed in the Show House and are not available on-site. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the neighboring area.
Is there a dress code?
Come as you are.
Are Bathrooms available for Show House guests?
Yes, there is one on-site bathroom for paid attendees.
How long will it take to tour the Show House?
At a leisurely pace, the self-guided tour shouldn’t take more than an hour.
Is there an elevator at the house?
No, there is no elevator.
Other Show House Restrictions?
There’s no wheelchair access due to stairs, no high heels (to protect the floors), no pets allowed, no children under 6 or infants in arms permitted, and no sitting on or touching the furniture or accessories in the house.
