FAQ’s – Show House

Show House Location, Days & Hours:

  • Monday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

  • (No entry 1/2 hour before closing)

What guidelines are you implementing in light of COVID-19?

  • For your safety, this fall’s Show House will be taking proper precautions in light of COVID-19, with health screenings required for all staff and increased cleaning and sanitation throughout the home to protect the designers and guests. There will also be a limit on the number of attendees, and guests will purchase admission tickets sold for specific dates and times to ensure city and state social distancing guidelines are met. This means that every ticket purchased will be date and time specific. The first session will be from 10:00AM till 12:00PM, the second session will be from 12:00PM till 2:00PM and the third session will be from 2:00PM till 4:00PM.  You are allowed to enter the house at any time during each time session window but need to exit by the conclusion of the session.

  • Volunteer for the Show House is done via the website here 

 

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

  • Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another day and/or time. 

I don’t want to purchase a sponsorship can I still come as an individual? 

  • Yes, individual tickets are $40. 

 

How accessible are events?  

  • Stairs to enter the House. 

 

Are there special accommodations or separate entrances for physically impaired guests?

  • Unfortunately, not.

I would like/ my guest would like to explore the grounds/event/venue can I do so without purchasing a ticket?

  • To gain entrance to the House/grounds a ticket(s) must be purchased.

  • You may also show your email confirmation to gain entry to the house.

Are tickets available at the door?

  • Yes, a limited amount of tickets are available at the door. 

What is the dress code? 

  • Come as you are but masks are required. If you do not have access to a mask, we will provide you with one. 

What is the inclement weather policy? 

  • We do not close due to inclement weather.

Are children allowed to attend?

  • Children under 6 are not allowed.

What is the cut off time for guests to enter?

  • 1/2 hour before the end of your scheduled time slot.. 

I keep getting error messages when trying to book online and it won't let me, why?

There may be a few reasons for this:

  • Foreign credit card

  • Date and/or time slot you have selected is sold out. 

  • Past cut-off time for payment If you are past the cut-off time for payment, you will need to pay at the door of the event.

  • Incomplete transaction. Many payments are started however not finished which means that the payment is never processed. Please make sure that complete your transaction by submitting it at the end. You will receive an email notification confirming payment shortly after completing the ticket purchase process.

I don't own a printer to print out my ticket, can you send it to me?

  • For the Show House you just need to show the bar code section of your ticket on your mobile device, it is then scanned at the door.

  • We do NOT have a guest list at the door of the House.

 

How long will it take to tour the house?

  • No more than 1 hour depending on how long is spent in each room.
